Present Simple for Ordering
Use polite phrases:
I want… → I want a salad.
I’d like… → I’d like some tea.
Can I have…? → Can I have a sandwich, please?
Avoid direct/rude language like “Give me…” in restaurants.
Use “please” to sound polite.

3. Cultural Note

In many English-speaking countries, polite language is very important in restaurants.
Please” and “thank you” are expected.
Contactless payment is common and quick, but still say “thank you” after paying.
